Come check out the new home of the Brooklyn Flea. I have been setting up my booth all week and watching the space come together. There's excitement in the air.
Here's what the folks at the flea have to say about it:
Leaves are changing, football season’s in full swing, the bars have cider. It’s fall. Not to worry, we won’t leave you out in the cold.
Starting November 8+9, our operation moves indoors for the annual Winter Flea + Holiday Market, to a single Brooklyn location: 1000 Dean (btw. Classon + Franklin Ave.), which just so happens to be directly connected to our new beer hall, Berg’n. (Stroke of luck, that.) Just off Franklin Ave., the 30,000+sf space (sneak peek below) is in the heart of Crown Heights, close to the 2/3 and C trains. (Take both to Franklin Ave.: the 2/3 at Eastern Parkway, the C at Fulton St.)
With more than 100 high-quality vendors in a polished, airy setting that spans three distinct, connected spaces, the The Winter Flea + Holiday Market will feature a little bit of everything: familiar and new faces; loads of antiques, salvage, and furniture; our best handmade and jewelry vendors; cool new and vintage clothes; special events; and of course a dozen or so food vendors to keep you satiated. We’re gonna do a stroller and coat check to free your body and mind.
And if/when you get thirsty, Berg’n beckons with its dozen drafts, 50+ bottles and cans, bloody marys, and natural wine—plus Asia Dog, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Pizza Moto, and Ramen Burger. It’s all a far cry from sitting on the basement floor at One Hanson in years past!
The Flea’s heating up for winter. See ya there.
