My daughter and I collected these Osage Oranges, also known as Hedge Apples, in the Nethermead in Prospect Park. We always look for them in October when they fall from the tree. They are large, chartreuse-colored and wrinkly (like brains.) They have a wonderful citrusy smell and are said to repel cockroaches and spiders. I have a bowlful of them out on my table. Racy 60’s Metal Cabinet
I love the colors on this painted metal garage cabinet from the 1960s. I like the way it looks next to my garage neighbor's bright yellow Mini Cooper. Just had to snap a photo. It would make a great hallway, basement or even large hanging bath cabinet. It has lots of shelves inside and is in remarkably great condition.
