I've been doing some kitchen renovations. Here is a fun and practical way to keep your vintage aprons and tea towels close at hand.
 I will be selling lots of vintage aprons, linens and perhaps a few antlers at the indoor flea in January.

I have been hoarding vintage xmas items all year long and I am bringing them out this weekend to the indoor Dumbo flea. These estate sale treasures could be your new family heirlooms. I will have lots of boxed ornaments, xmas hankies and wonderful vintage holiday cards that you can recycle and regift.

  

The perfect gift for your Thanksgiving host or hostess!

If you need a bucket or two or three for your home rendered lard….
I will have several to chose from at Brooklyn Bridge Park tomorrow. There really is nothing like rendering your own lard for your Thanksgiving pie crusts. Not sure you would need several gallons, but the buckets look great.

While scouring a country flea this past weekend, I spotted this great dog/pet house made from an old steamer trunk. Thought it was a brilliant idea- just cut a door and throw in a bed or cushion. These trunks are relatively inexpensive and easy to come by. In fact, I have several lying around….if I only had a dog.
