Consider giving one of our beautiful potted plants for the holidays. Bearing in mind that it is difficult to conceal a living plant, we are offering free plant babysitting until pickup for Christmas. We will have your plant gift wrapped and ready to go on December 24th or earlier (if needed.)

🕎 A very Happy Hanukah to those celebrating it this week 🕎

This holiday season is not shaping up to be the merriest, but we have some sparkly vintage ornaments for sale in the shop to brighten up your days. We generally wait until after Thanksgiving to put out our Christmas stuff, but this year is just…..different in every way. We are however waiting until just after Thanksgiving to decorate our shop windows for Christmas. Until then you can come by and check out the annual appearance of our taxidermy wild turkey.

We are currently open Thursday-Sunday 12-6. In addition to Christmas decorations we have one-of-a-kind gifts, gift certificates, houseplants, vintage jewelry, antique maps, prints and frames. You can also find us outdoors at the Brooklyn Flea in DUMBO on Saturdays from 10-4. Please shop local this holiday season.

With Labor Day weekend in the rear view and Fall stretching out ahead, it feels like a fresh start of sorts. I’m missing the traditional Back to School time and all that comes with it, but thankful that we can be out of our homes and interacting again.

Starting this week we will be back to our regular shop hours: Thursdays through Sundays 12-6. We will continue to stock a large selection of potted houseplants as well as vintage and antique home decor. A lot of us are spending more time at home (than we might like) learning, working and living, and we all need some nice new stuff to look at.
